Working together for a Low Carbon Future:

Today's fossil fuel-powered economy has significant impacts on our climate. In line with scientific goals, the Bio Energy Base aims to reduce carbon emissions. With the Paris climate agreement in mind, we are focusing on reducing carbon emissions to zero by 2050 and halving emissions between 2020 and 2050 to keep warming below 1.5 degrees.

Revolutionary Biomass Energy:

The Bio Energy Base (BEB) converts non-recyclable waste wood into green electricity, green steam and green heat, giving non-recyclable wood a new life and creating renewable energy for industry. The BEB is highly efficient, thanks to smart delivery of green heat, green steam and green electricity to neighbouring industrial partners through the shortest chain. As a result, we collectively reduce the ecological footprint and embed sustainability in our regional community.

Circular Approach to Sustainability:

Every step in our process reflects a circular approach. On both the input and output side, we optimise for efficiency and sustainability. Our logistics also follows the principle of the short chain, while our output process meets the strictest emission standards. We have perfected heat utilisation with maximum energy yield, without waste.

A Local Source of Sustainability:

BEB not only provides renewable energy but also anchors economic activity and employment in our region. We attract innovative companies and lead the transition of existing industry to renewable energy. The BEB creates a local, affordable and guaranteed source of energy, colouring our regional economy green.
