BEE is building its own power plant in Ghent: the Bio Energy Base

Our biomass power plant, the Bio Energy Base, will use non-recyclable wood waste and achieve maximum efficiency with the most efficient technology. In addition, compared to a gas-fired power plant, ours saves 88,500 tonnes of CO2 per year. The power plant will produce 20 megawatts of electricity and provide 50 megawatts of heat.
